OpTime & Anesthesia Consulting Opportunities

If you've spent time in the OR — whether as an implementer, a perioperative nurse who made the jump to Epic, or someone who's been optimizing surgical workflows for years — you know this module is a different animal.

Preference cards. Case documentation. Block scheduling. The Anesthesia workflow layered underneath all of it. It's detailed, it's clinical, and not everyone can do it well.

We work exclusively with senior-level OpTime and Anesthesia consultants. People who've been through actual go-lives, not just post-live support rotations. People who know what a clean build looks like and aren't afraid to say when one isn't.

Why Anura?

What We Look For

We were founded by people who came out of Epic, Bluetree, and Nordic. We've seen how big firms operate — the layers, the overhead, the recruiter-to-recruiter chains that end with a consultant who barely fits the role.

Our model is intentionally lean. No UGM sponsorships. No unnecessary middle management. That's not cost-cutting — it's a choice. And it means one concrete thing for our consultants: better rates.

We work with Senior Epic-Certified Consultants only. Here's what that typically means for OpTime and Anesthesia:

  • Active Epic certification in OpTime and/or Anesthesia

  • Real implementation or optimization experience — not just break-fix or help desk

  • Ability to work directly with perioperative leadership, surgeons, and anesthesia teams

  • Comfortable translating build decisions into plain language for clinical stakeholders

  • Available for remote, hybrid, or on-site engagements depending on client need

We don't submit resumes blindly. Before we make any introductions, we want to understand your background, your availability, and what kind of work you actually want to do.
